Biography
Shahjahan was elected to the Puducherry Legislative Assembly from the Lawspet constituency from 13 May 2001 to 13 May 2011.
He contested in the Kalapet constituency and won the assembly election in 2016, representing Kalapet from 19 May 2016 till the end of that term.
For the 2021 election, he was the candidate for the Kamaraj Nagar constituency.
